Customary POP Deficiencies Weaken Their Value
No Trading Partner Collaboration: Today’s Perfect Order Programs do not enable business executives to measure the impact of all trading partners - customers and suppliers and carriers - on the company’s order management performance. Customary Perfect Order Programs do little to foster trading partner collaboration nor do they provide a facility to enable active trading partner participation. No matter how perfect a company’s own operations may be, flawed processes or imperfections within a customer or supplier or carrier can cause significant damage to the company’s own ability to deliver perfect order performance. So, with no ability to enable customer, supplier or carrier collaboration, it becomes very difficult for business executives to manage the alignment of the company’s operations with its business strategy. Another key deficiency in customary Perfect Order Programs is that they are void of trading partner collaborative measures and trading partner collaboration enabling facilities.
